For some reason I love Azevs. I've always wanted a set. Like the color in the bay.

After every year in Montreal, winter seems to slowly start vanishing which means warm weather, sun, cars and broads :) These are pictures from Saturday afternoon at the shop on a beautiful day. I rolled her into the sunlight so she can finally get some sun. The color is fantastic with sun on it and can't wait to see the whole car outside.
Also got my Hood Joint placed on the rad support. It's fresh from powder coat.

Car is back in the booth getting prepared for paint. Doors are on. A few dents but very clean without any rust. I was planning on making the rad support removable but sadly it isn't possible. I'll have to have it welded.
Front windshield is out and some plastic was laid down.
Found an old personal steering at the shop that was in rough shape but the leather was still clean on it. Clean up and paint. New steering for this year.

Im hoping this is the last update I do before it's finally painted. This was a very expensive week for me as the aftermarket AKA jobber fenders I got a while turned out to be really FULL OF Shhhh... The lines of the car did not match up at all and that made the hood off etc etc. So I had no choice but to purchase OEM fenders from the dealer. Sadly I do not live in Cali where used OEM fenders are everywhere! Also got a new OEM valance at the same time.
The holes on the trunk were made for the IS lip, looks good. My painter says that it SHOULD be painted this weekend. Lets find out.

Hell yeah, I bet you're excited.
I went through the same thing with fenders. I bought six fenders before I found two, that after being blocked down, I thought were 'good enough' to use. In hindsight, I should have went with new ones. So I think you made the right choice.Comment
