Looking forward to seeing this finished. My E30 swap situation is turning out to be alot like yours and your swap is giving me hope. After my M10 blew and now I'm piecing an M52 and it's stuck with the mechanic. I want to drive it already!

Since I might actually be driving this car soon, I have been keeping my eye out for little things that needed attention on the car. Bought new bolts for the Momo steering wheel, 3 were stripped out and my steering has a weird offset spacer thing on it that I want to remove. Also got new tailight gaskets for the "new" early model tails. And finally I picked up a used set of IE3 springs since the current spring setup is a mash up of random stuff. I loved them on my eta and it will be nice to have a matching set.

I seriously tried to find a gif of this, to no avail...

Thanks, hit me up when your car is here and we'll go for a drive.

so, I had a busy weekend. This was Saturday morning before I left Seattle. Car was filthy, but fired up right away and purred like a kitten.

Not sure why the pics came out so crappy

And then I did this for about 12 hours...

5th gear pull...I think I had about 500miles on it at this point lol

Arrived at my parents house and gave the car a much needed bath, and swapped on the "new" taillights on the car. Basically gave the car a good scrub, cleaned all the crevices out.

and finally, an engine bay pic with the engine in it

Wiring still needs to be cleaned up amongst a few other odds and ends I need to do. Basically now that the car is solid and ran well over a 1300 flawless miles, its time to take it to the next level and install all these extra parts that Ive been accumulating in the last year.
