First thing is to get it back on the road. I want to make a driver/auto x/ track day car for a while. I want to learn how to be a better driver so I will be taking some HPDE schools over the next year so I can get on the track!

I will be keeping this one for a while.

Sorry you guys hate me! I can understand it though! I have been hoping for a deal like this for a long time!!!!!!

Hey guys, yes that's my old car.

The rear flap , well , I was a broke kid when buying this car many years ago so I just bought a true CF wing, measured where I wanted the flap to be sitting and grabbed a drill gun. Keep in mind, this was 2003 when cooler parts weren't as abundant and a 1200 evo sport rear flap was out of the question

Bret is a great guy and I am very happy she's gone to a good home.

Stopped by the shop to check on progress. Should be back on the road in a couple days.

PO said the clutch slave cylinder was bad and that's why the clutch wouldnt work. Not so much.... Here are a couple pictures:

There was a crack here so we tried to weld it:

That was not the only problem, check out the bent clutch lever:

We replaced the clutch slave just in case as well.

Diff looks great though! Even though it stunk like a sewer!!!

The subframe bushings are pretty shot too so those are getting replaced. Other misc bushings as well.

More to come when I get it back!

Thanks! It will be a fun car!

And I need to give a big shout out to Devin and Chuck at Southwest Bimmers. They do great work so if you need a shop in Vegas that's the place to go!

Sounds like Ara never even had the problem looked at, lol.

What I'm wondering is why you put all of that time and effort in to repairing the pedal box when any 84-89 box will interchange and is easy to obtain.

That's fairly common with the M3's particularly if you have a stiff clutch.

They were trying to see if there was an easy fix. The pedal box ended up being replaced anyway so all is well now.

I'm still dying to drive it!!!
