Fix that M3 grille badge though, it's too high. :)

Good job. You work fast. The rims look newand the car looks great. I am in the process of refinishing my own weaves which is y I asked."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

A little update from the weekend.
I didn't spend a ton of time on the car this weekend since I was out most on Saturday and did the brakes on my daughters X3 on Sunday but I did get the front bumper redone.
Don't laugh too much at my driveway paint job. Keep in mind I'm just going for a good 10 fotter (looks good from 10 feet away. LOL).
I did spend 3 or 4 hours prepping the bumper. It was in bad shape so I did a few passes with progressively finer sandpaper but stopped after I got to 600 grit. The bumper needs to be replaced so I didn't want to waste too much time on it.
Anyway, here you go:
You might remember this:
Then I did this:
Which turned into this:
I got the paint from an online chip repair place that was able to match the paint and put it in a spray can. Up close it does not look that great, no drips or anything but I could have spent more time sanding to get it smoother. I also need to put the side markers in and do the black trim that goes down the middle of the bumper. Probably next weekend....
I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish with this so I'm fine with it for now.
Next up is finding an in tank fuel pump housing because the one that is in there has a crack on top so gas keeps coming out when the tank is full. Not much fun to drive when that happens.
Still a work in progress. Thanks for looking!!Comment

I have not updated in a long time because there is not much to update.
Recent work included getting the interior stripped of all the glue/crap etc stuck to the floors, see pictures. I also purchased a new steering wheel and shift knob. Love them!
Last but not lest I sourced an interior for it. It' needs to be completely redone but that's what I wanted since I am building this for me. No pictures but it's not worth taking them right now!
Here are a few pictures:
Starting point:
After cleaning:
New Steering Wheel and shift knob:
Next step is to get the bodywork done. There is a lot of work needed in the passenger foot well so I will be sending it out to get that done. That's beyond what I want to or can do!
More updates to come as progress is made.
