    well no interest as a project so work continues as usual until I run out of time. So anyone interested to know how I handled the oil return under the manifold here it is.
    had this made up on the lathe

    pressed it in

    then cut my starlite to fit. Just need to buy a hose clamp

    Agreed. Sell the E46, it should practically sell itself if it is exactly as you describe!

    Snarky comments aside, sorry to see you cut your project short. I was hoping you'd at least get to dyno the engine with that intake!
