I got some used 993 exhaust manifolds to eventually put on my 3.2 engine because they offer good performance and good heat for winter. I will need to custom make the rest of the exhaust system so they will have to wait for a little. The flanges on one header need to be turned 90 degrees to fit on the 3.2 so i wanted to get that done using the engine on the stand as a jig.
Cut through the base of the weld
Flanges removed
Weld removed from inside the flanges
Flanges tack welded on in the correct position ready for final welding.
New engine oil line was needed for the SSI headers i am going to use. Installed and also ready for new exhaust studs.
New studs installed
SSI headers installed, ready for the muffler. These are long tube, equal length units and if they had an 1/8th of an inch bigger primaries they would be perfect.

I have been doing some work.
Got most of the tin on the engine and finally took it off the stand.
Sitting on a furniture dolly with the complete exhaust system installed.
I have a second muffler that i really wanted to use first but it wouldn't mate to the headers properly. It will require removing a flange and re welding it.
I wanted to run the rear piece of tin from the 3.0 engine but it needed some repair and modifying.
I did the sheet metal work at a buddies shop who just picked up this monster. Google Yoder Power Hammer if you aren't familiar with it. Dude is majorly talented, like build an entire car body from scratch talented.
Here is the rear piece of tin installed.
