        Update.

This week has been without my e30 . I dropped the gas tank of at the shop that cleaned it 6 months ago and told them to re do it I was still seeing light rust and they didn't vacuum it out after the final wash and there was loose rust in it..

I got the tank back yesterday and spent a hour and half pulling it back together with a new fuel filler house and installing it into the car. i still need to do the drive shaft tonight.

I miss driving the car and cant wait to get it back on the road!!!

Im also refinishing a set of style 5's for a co-worker so it slows down all my side projects.

I sold my extra expedition this weekend and picked up some SILBER door cards to go with my back seat. on Friday my temp and fuel gauges died and my tach started to acked all wacky. I thought it was the SI board crapping out on me so I made plans to pull it on sun and look at it( need to do the cluster repair still but need to order the gears. I first checked the #10 fuse and it was blown so I replaced it and everything worked again so I Googled "E30 #10 fuse blown" and read that the most likely cause is the revers lights wires off the trans are shorting out. So I put in the air with my helper and there was 2 ripped wires I pulled them off the car and did a repair. NO more problems.
            now the PICS>

Now on to cleaning. I really want to get the car to a very clean state. I hate motors caked with oil it bugs me to no end. so I will do a couple cleaning session to get it all off.. ROME WASN'T BUILD IN A DAY AND ALL THIS OIL WONT COME OFF IN ONE. is my cleaning moto.

            DIRTY

            Clean up

After all this I picked up another set of wheels.. I know. at least these are 4x100.
they look like old Revolutions rpx or schmindt moderlines they are 14x6.5 no marking on them at all and super light was told 8.5 each rim. came off a spec CRX.

            Wheels with HOOSERS rubber.

I "was " going to swap tire this week. But cash could persuade me keep up with my "other" wheels .

New studs and nuts for the wheels. Waiting on 10 mm spacers..

I weighed the 14x6.5 rims they are 12.5lbs each. I don't know where the guy I got them from came up with 8.5lbs. Just wanted to clear this up.
