Everything is fine condition wise, I swapped the gears from 3.91 to 3.46 and did a 4 clutch rebuild. There's too much clunk between the ring and pinion. I'm starting to get pissed off about it because it's one of the last things I need to finish up.Bang Gears & Burn Rubber.

Normally I would say a car with a hodgepodge of 80s parts (square headlights, 2-tone, window louvers, red plate filler, etc) would just be a rolling pile... but somehow, on your car it all just... fits. I don't know why, but it all works together is some kind of amazing 80s harmony, like Wilson Phillips. Or Kenny Loggins.

Haha thank you, it will be painted all one color once it runs and drives.Normally I would say a car with a hodgepodge of 80s parts (square headlights, 2-tone, window louvers, red plate filler, etc) would just be a rolling pile... but somehow, on your car it all just... fits. Chances you make any shows with it this year? Or do you even have a date when you hope to be done by?

Never been a big car show guy, I want to do it right and take my time.
There's no reason it shouldn't be driving by the end of fall beginning or winter and get painted next spring.Bang Gears & Burn Rubber.

I feel the same way. On paper this thing shouldn't be cool but this is hands down one of my favourite E30s. I usually hate vette saw blades on E30s too, but they look killer on this car. Cheers to you Dirk this is one badass build.Normally I would say a car with a hodgepodge of 80s parts (square headlights, 2-tone, window louvers, red plate filler, etc) would just be a rolling pile... but somehow, on your car it all just... fits.
