Got a few little things today, including my part from Romania ;)
Small to big.
Got this little guy. Very happy with it. Much better then the toggle switch I had!
Then my heel plate from BMW Pedals
Need to fins some spacers to go between the plate and floor to finish mounting it. Only have screws in the front right now.
And the big ticket item. Should I keep it black, or do something fun. German flag stripes, or maybe a WWI naval camo pattern? Also should I use an adhesive tape, rivets, or some small screws with nuts and trim rings? I am leaning towards rivets for the look.
I also need to ether mount my rear roundel on the fiberglass, or cut a hole in the spoiler for the roundel to pop through. I think mounting it on the fiber glass will be the best option.
This part is from Garage Line in Romania. Shipping was fast, service and email replies were good and fast, and the part showed up in really good shape for the distance it traveled.

Me too! Thing is the wind is really blowing hard and I dont have the time or hardware to mount it right now. I dont want to place it on the trunk, step away, and then have the wind blow it off and get it all chipped up.
Ill dedicate some time to this tomorrow. Updated at a later date :)sigpic

If anyone reading this has an affordable bucket seat or OEM sport seat in black please let me know.
Cheers guys
Im liking the progress on this thing. I kinda have the same issue with the center console and Im probably just going to throw it away. Its not even the correct one for my car. I also have a 84 and it has manual windows, but the console has the holes for the window switches...
Also, how close is your head to the roll bar? In one pic it looked really close, but not so much now that its welded in.Simon

Thanks for the offer 2man. Much appreciated, but I think Im going to save my money for another MOMO seat thats safer with a harness.
My head is not close to the roll bar at all. My seat could actually move back a bit, and Im already low enough to fit with a helmet and extra room. Thats saying a lot because Im a toll guy.sigpic
