Remember the e36 m3's came with (iirc) a 3.23 in manual, and some of the guys who autox swap them out for the 3.38 from the auto m3 so for an NA car I don't think it could be too bad.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

That was my assumption. but the rolling radius is smaller on an E30... maybe not if going with 265s like OP ;)
here is a link to the comparaison between 2.93 and 3.15 with 225/45 RS3 and ZF320...https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-m...enShot2858.jpgE30 now S52

I ended up going 255s. Way more options.
I pulled the trigger on the g-Force Rival's 245 and 255 both 40/17sigpic

Test fitted the wheels with out the tires. The fronts look good. 17x9 et25 with a 15mm spacer making them et10. 245/40s should be okay.
The rears are so tight but don't touch. 1mm of clearance from the trailing arm and spring perch. 17x10 et20. I hope the 255/40s stretch a bit on the 10in wheel.
Urban Motorworx is mounting them and should be ready for pick up tomorrow morning.
Hopefully concours can squeeze me in for an alignment tomorrow if all goes well with the fitment.sigpic

Ordered new rear wheel bearings, the allen bolts that attaches the axels to the diff. Gotta get that new diff installed!
Going to have the talented Snap powder coat the M-Coupe cover and some other parts.
Side note, these tires are awesome! Slowly pushing the limits while being scared of curbs and cement walls but it's on rails! I still need to address some rubbing issues. Thinking I'll totally cut out the inner fender a quarter of the way from the outside of the car and fiberglass it back shut and/or purchase some adjustable rear coils with some stiffer springs.sigpic

The head gasket replacement journey.
Keeping organized.
Too much wear?
I can feel this one with my fingernail.
Now I just need to disconnect my downpipe and remove the ARP head bolts and see the carnage.sigpic

I talked to John and ECS and he said he has sold hundreds of these head gaskets and hasn't had one customer come back with a complaint.

- Not sure of what to do with the cooler size. I haven't measured anything yet but thinking I could run two of the smaller Canton coolers in tandem behind and to the left and right of the kidney.
Or do I just go S54 oil cooler and call it a day?sigpic

E30 S52 Build + Turbo Install
Every tracked s52 I've seen has scored cam bearing caps. Yours aren't too bad, just make sure you match them back up to the right journal and bobs your uncle
I have the rally road oil cooler cap, IE is the same thing slightly different design. It's much cheaper, I believe I bought the rally road cap after my brother bought the IE cap and I saw that the two ports mix and are not completely independent, I remember thinking that you might lose significant oil pressure if you ran a feed off the oil cooler line, but I may be wrong. I just got the rally road cap to be safe.
I got a junkyard oil thermostat and it works excellent lol. S54 thermostat housing would probably be the cleanest and best way to do it but I couldn't see myself forking over $400 for a thermostat housing.Comment
