When hitting the yards here for my m30, I ran across 2 of these and was vewy vewy tempted... would have been too much for me, but you are making it look soooo easy!!! Plus, your attention to detail and cleanliness is incredible... Looking forward to the end product!

Thanks .. and good point,, well the muffler is filled with special heat-resistance rockwool
and E30 aftermarket business is actually ,,zero, here in Iceland
and i wanted to do it ,, MY WAY.. as said,, the shape of the muffler and size is almost identical to oem specific,, and yes i am running dual 2.5" ((63.5mm))
on tuesday the car will go to exhaust install,, and i will post pictures as soon as i can get after that

to all of you ,,thank you for positive feedback

Well,,,,,,,, the exhaust is finally done....... at a hefty price ouich

it was narrow but my man did it well,,, stainless all the way from oem manifold to the end.....
from manifold,, 2 x 42.4mm tubes and bends were used ,, and then in to 63.5mm

4 flange 8mm 316ss were made,, an X-PIPE and just 1 rear muffler + lots of bending and many meters of pipes

              ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

tight... right side of the car.. some mods because of the engine mounts

also on the right side,, developed..or designed in that way the starter can be taken out

drivers side.. the steering was the main factor of design

              This explain it self 2 x 2 -->2,,,,,,,

              and then in to X-PIPE...........

              X-PIPE..

              WIDEBAND,,,,,,,,

              rear silencer

              in front of silencer

I'm praying those engine mounts hold up. It sure would be awful to see all this work go to hell for something so simple.

                        They'll be fine.

As long as OP never hits any reasonably sized pot holes

Or the trans mount gives up

Or as long as OP doesn't jab the gas pedal too hard

                        Jk OP, jk ;)

                        ...

not kidding, lol, hope that m70 isn't putting down too much power
