Got some time in the shop tonight and made some decent progress. Got the brakes totally done!
Tilton reservoir mounted to new plastic trim (with reinforcement brackets hidden behind):
This reminds me of Predator for some reason:
...and installed:
Got everything bled after fixing a couple leaks (I could have sworn everything was tight :-P ) and it's good to go.
Finished the steering shaft. Had one of the joints from the Vorshlag kit I purchased years ago. Sourced the other end from a friend who we put a woodward column like in my racecar, so he didn't need one of the ujoints either. Cut up the DD shafts to fit, and Bob's your uncle. Anyway, it's done, and it clears the header - barely...
And just for shits and giggles:
I had not planned on keeping these on the street car but they are so pretty...

Made a little more progress. Hooked up enough to get it running. The exhaust is almost done. Still have a few things to get sorted before it can make any shake down runs, and a lot of things left to get looking half way decent.
Biggest issue I've run into is between the harness being partially removed at some point (everything was unplugged) and the ABS parts being removed there are a few things I'm not quite sure about. I tore all this "crap" out of my racecar so I have no immediate reference, and I haven't had the time to start really going through the rew remaining "dangling" wires.
Basically the windows still don't work but that's not related to the underloader relays as those are grounded and all else works appears to work. Trying to figure out the brake light wiring but my brake light switch has yet to arrive from Pelican, so it will probably be a little more clear when that arrives.
Anyway, I've been looking for a good pic to see what is wrong or missing on this plug: (no luck yet)
Not sure what the heck this is!
I assume that's the brake light switch?
A few pics of the exhaust in progress. I used the initial 3" transition from my racecar but stepped it down to 2.5" a few inches back. Keep in mind the drivers side from the header to the muffler will change as soon as I get time to make a permanent transmission mount. I let someone have my trans mount and just made that one up quick to hold it in the car, but it's right in the freggin way of where the exhaust needs to go.

Haven't made any progress this week other than ordering more parts. Some fresh bumper trim, an IS spoiler, fog light blanks, window lock trim and gaskets, a bunch of clips, basically everything to button up the outside minus paint. Haven't decided if I like the aftermarket mirrors or not. I thought they were fine on my racecar but I'm not really feeling them on this one. Ordered a Lukebox and a few components to get rolling on some tunes as well.
Stopped by the shop today to drop off some parts and at least pay a visit. There has been word of some potential vandalism so I wanted to make certain everything was okay. No sign of vandalism on my car:
But it looks like someone was messing with the Corvair a bit! Hopefully that will buff out...

Thanks guys!
Greg, will get some pics of the ti build.
As for pedal feel, I haven't put any road miles on the car yet, only a few quick start/stops in the parking lot. I have not adjusted the bias yet and it feels like it might be favoring the rear a bit too much (backs locked up first). I also am not certain of the condition of the brake pads (something on the list to order) and I didn't drive enough to really even get them warmed up. All that said, the pedal isn't that bad and I suspect it will be better when everything is properly setup. I'll certainly give some more feedback once I am able to get the car out for a proper test.

Awesome build. wish I had fab skills like you, ive always wanted to make a brace out of the old tranny brace. Also So jealous of your brake set up. Mine blow.....On a side note though between the HD clutch and the crappy manual brakes my quads are jacked lolWorlds 1st LS powered e30 cabby.
