Why was it cutting out at 6k, seems like you fixed it but curious what is was.

I think it ended up being 1 silly parameter that wasn't right and sending it into limp mode.

Jb325is, did the e36m rear calipers not work because they didn't fit over the rotors you were using? They bolted to the adapter bracket just fine correct??

We're the rear calipers e46 m3? Nasieg said 328i calipers with 325i rotors (could be the opposite) would only work with "minor modification" and the non csl e46 m3 rotors/calipers were direct fit. Only took 10 forum pages to.extract all that. Looking good here man! Can't wait to put my adapters on ad well!

They were 2000 e46 328i calipers. Both those and m3 calipers didn't line up, like they wanted a different offset rotor. The e39 calipers seem to work perfectly.

Finally found some brake stuff that's going to work.

e30 trailing arms, new e30 bearings, e30 m3 hubs, e46 294x19 rotors (I think they were e46 325i), and e39 540i aluminum calipers. 17x9 ET22 with 245/40

Still waiting on one more caliper bracket, but getting really close

Top port on core is outlet. 1000% confirmed, I have a thread about this somewhere on here

So water flows from the engine to the core through the bottom port and from the core to the engine through the top connection, right? (just trying to make it idiot proof...)

I put about 10-15 miles on the car today, its too loud, rubs with the 245's more than I would like, and it feels slower on the street than the m30 but at least it's driving, finally! It seems to run cooler than the m30 though, heater core is flowing now and the fan comes on when it should. Now just gonna clean everything up and work on the little stuff.
