tarted to do the odometer gears. i got the wrong batteries. i needed the 3v lithium batteries. i ordered them from batteries plus. 20 for the pair. these are for sale if anyone is interested. hopefully they will be here on Thursday.

gears are done and needles are painted red.

started to mount the fuse block. just making it high enough to put the under dash back on. start by removing the excess mounting tabs.

making mounts for the fuse block. one side at a time.

PBR is a required item BTW

Cleaned up the engine bay a little more.

Now that i got the fuse block mounted i was able to use the clutch pedal, pounded the pedal and i got a pedal finally. it was bled, but i needed to abuse it a little i guess. started it and put it in gear and it moved and it stopped when i pushed the brake pedal, huh... cant believe it.

This stupid engine has some noisy lifters. i checked the filter to see if it was pumping oil and it is, so i think lifters are in order.

quick little project. put a mini bulb in the cluster hole for the check engine light. radio shack part number 272-0331. fit right inside the hole. i cut off the tip to make it white light to make it brighter to see it in the daylight. then i hot glued around the connector to lock it in place and prevent vibrations. i used a 2 pin male female plug to make the cluster removable. plug part number 2740222. i grabbed a roll of 22 gauge speaker wire to make things easier. that shit comes in handy.

i have been busy with the is car. didnt go to bed last night. i get mad at myself. I changed the dash yesterday. I spent an hour fucking with the glovebox. i cant get it adjusted right. i bet i spent 45 minuted on trying to figure out why the fan switch knob gets tight pass 2. really, 45 minutes, probably even an hour. i should punch myself in the balls. Then i checked my cluster and i found i had a bad circuit board for the instrument lights. i repaired that, but decided i wanted to make it better, so i installed LED's. i have a DIY being checked bya Moderator for authentication. i will post a link when it gets published.

Dash is done, DME mounted, glovebox in , protective piece/trim installed, changed burnt out bulbs, added LED's to cluster, extended wiper wires, relocated/mounted cruise control, installed throttle cable.

Ran a E34 cable. i have to cut 3/8" off the plastic and push it up on the 90 degree bend further for the cable to reach. it was about 1/2" short.

Installed kenwood cd player, bypassed the Fader,

i still need to put my new fan in, put bumpers/ fenders on, charge a/c, finish up on some of the wiring out front like the fan, a/c, OBC shit etc. I am running my washer reservoir in the trunk.

Replaced the expansion valve and flushed out the lines and old evaporator.

That riv nut gun is bad ass! Fastness, especially the right fastener for the right job, give me weird tingling sensations. Sweet build

thanks. the build is such a pain in the ass. that gun is called a d700 i think. government price of $2400. WOW

the fan fits. woo hoo. still had to hole the valance. same mount locations. made out on that.

cel is burnt out already. luckily i have an unused ABS bulb and socket i can use.

Cruise is all finished up. Painted a e36 console and armrest. mount that tomorrow. LIST FOR TOMORROW, Fuel sender, back seat, CEL, kick panel, fan wiring, a/c compressor wired, clean blower cover and paint, washer pump, coolant level sensor. little at a time.

            Thanks for the comments

i had the number, but i misplaced it. i think it was 009 on techchoice.com. measures 13.5x21 i think. same side discharge and intake. it is a few inches larger than the stock one. i couldnt find a parallel condenser for the e30 that was price well. for what they wanted, i was able to get a larger condenser, all the fittings and hoses and drier and txv. i think i pent a total of $200 on all of at the most. Thanks for the comments.

replaced the fuel sender, gauge now works, woo hoo

took the carpet out, it was cut and replaced with a shit over carpet carpet. glad i did, it was soaking wet on the drivers side.it has not been outside for a month, i hope my heater core isnt leaking, uh oh. it is filled with water right now, so there is not way of telling. the coolant is full though...

ran my washer pump to the rear of the car. still need to make a mount

mounted my fan. i was right, the mounts were the same as the original 16" fan i used. this one fit great, but the valance still had to be cut

started mounting my e36 armrest and console. what a bitch, i am securing it with 8mm bolts into more rivnuts.

got the blower motor cover painted, trimmed down and installed. trimmed the valve cover beauty cover a little more.

What resonator are you using currently?

I went with a single 3" setup for my s52 swap. I have a magnaflow 11249 under the middle of the car which is a pretty large oval resonator (the oval ones provide more sound dampening than the round resonators) with just that the car is pretty loud and throaty, at the back of the car I have a chambered flowmaster super 50. and that quiets the car down more than enough to use on the street or as a daily in my opinion.

Looking at the comparison sheet the super 50 has about double the amount of baffles the 40 has so that could be a good option for you?

                                Thanks Galicianslash

Had a bad connection at the bulb socket. good to go on the CEL.

the no start is i had the fuel lines swapped. i replaced with new lines, i thought i kept them separated, i guess not, haha.

I have a feeling the updates aRE GOING TO SLOW DOWN. I am going to attend Jumpmaster school here at work. 3 weeks long, but one of the hardest Army schools to pass. i need to study my ass off.

After that i am going to another school for a nother 3 weeks, in the middle of nowhere, with no computers, phones, etc.
