This weekend I got a little bit done. I didn't have the DSLR so I just had the ol' iphone. I forgot to get a photo when I was done.

I was going to do the front brakes, but the pads looked pretty good, but the rotors are grooved for days. I am just going to order new rotors.

Put on a Volvo lip for the time being

And put on some euro projectors.

I actually stole it from my uncle. Free jack usage FTW.

I'm sure you will. I hope one day it will be as clean as yours.

The speakers are fantastic. They are component speakers, so there is a woofer and a tweeter. The box is what take the signal from the head unit and splits it so the woofer is just getting woofer frequency, and the tweeters are just getting tweeter frequency. That way one speaker isn't trying to do more than it's designed for. The little box is called a "crossover".

I probably should have, but he has been around here a while and wasn't a 4 post douche who somehow found my thread through an ask.com search.

I probably got the last set. I purchased them here for $84 each, free shipping.

You can find them elsewhere to for about that price. I would recommend them, do do sound very good. My one complaint is how the cover mounts over the speaker I couldn't get them into the car, with the pioneer cover on them. I'm going to modify the stock speaker covers with the pioneer speaker covers. They rattle a little in the front at times. Other than that they are fantastic, they are easy to fit into the housing, and a great set of speakers for the price.

Great work ST1G! You've done so much to the car in such a short amount of time.

Have you mounted the tweeters in the pods yet? I really want to get new tweeters but I'm unsure of how easy it will be to put them in the factory door pods. Also, any pics of the painted tail lights on the car? They look sick.

I still need to find some tweeters to mount up the font speakers, I was a little tired of doing car audio so that's going to be a bit before I do that. Cabriolet said it's kinda pain in the ass. You have to find somewhere to hid the crossovers.

I'm still working on sanding down and buffing out the taillights, I'm actually doing that tonight, I need to pick up some polish to make them shine. I really like how they look, they are a dark red but have kept their prismatic reflectivity well.
