damn this looks crazy, I will have to go through the full thread tomorrow when I get bored at work -
No I don't :( Nut he used the E34 ZF and tc so the M20 was tilted like the M50.
It looks good so far! Looking forward to see more!Leave a comment:

Been pretty busy, been working on my new/old quad that i got talked into buying by my friends because I guess two dirt bikes isn't good enough haha. Anyway I worked on the pan a little bit. Just rough cuts will need to be trimmed a lot more.
This is the 325ix pan

Here is the 525ix center piece

Also it seams that I'll need to cut the front driveshaft down by 1.5" because the passenger half shaft will hit the cross member otherwise. This of course causes interfaces with the oil pickup tube.Leave a comment:

I see what you are doing now with all those parts. You are doing things that no one else has done and your work looks awesome... Very nice!Leave a comment:

Well I cut tab off, fits like glove. I guess I'll start cutting the pan up next.Last edited by nomansland92; 11-22-2015, 08:12 AM.Leave a comment:

Think I'm done for the day but made some progress answered some questions.

My jig to hold the axle, the paint is so I know exactly where it sits.

With the 525ix diff loosely bolted to the axle. As you can see in the pics the upper mount hits the block and is stopping it from being rotated into place. I think if I cut the mount off and move it then it will clear everything. It's definitely going to be one hell of a frankenpan.

It even clears the rack, who would of guessed.

525ix vs 325ix diff

525ix vs 325ix half shafts

Tore somethings apart today and starting playing around. Heres the with the stock diff, Ill make a jig to hold the axle and transfer case in place and then I can bolt the 525ix diff to the axle and then I can see how hard this is really going to be.

Also a nice fresh rebuilt transfer case from guten parts :)
