I took the car to the winter safe last october as I started working on my toyota... om606 + 722.6 swap



Last week I got the block back from the machinery.





And opened the oil pump to see the condition...



The cylinder head will have the valve guides replaced and then I will start building the engine :)

I'd be interested to see your om606 build. I've always wanted to build up one of those here in the states, but parts/engines are limited and there's no aftermarket pumps over here.

They usually use mechanical pump from w124 om603 with 7-8mm elements for superturbo builds. I'm keeping the stock eletrical pump because I want to study it. https://www.facebook.com/JuusosGarage/?ref=bookmarks
