:)
I have heard of people hooking them up so they can use their cell phone with them...and all the lights light up. I am not sure exactly how to do that, but I will get power and a ground to it, to see if the lights will come on....should be a fun project...after I finish a few more...

times have changed
Well, something good has happened in 30 years:). Can you imagine using that phone in my car today:).
Rest of the deco kit goes on Sat morning.
Here is what I did yesterday::)
You can see why I wanted to change out the panel:)
Still have to 'button-up' a few things like the carpet. But I have to replace all the speakers, so not much point in getting the carpet in place, just to take it out again.
Need to finish putting the radio in too....wiring:(..I hate wiring...
Next is the mono wiper, or maybe get all the gauges working...have to order some senders first..

mono wiper
So had some time today, put the mono wiper on, not sure if it works yet. I will test it in the morning. Will give some details on how I did it....45min to get the old wiper motor out, 5 minutes to get the new one in....there might be something about the older models that makes it easier.
Of course the way you could do this is take the heater box out,,,,yeh, not going to happen.
I did notice that you have to get the passenger side, in front of the heater box fins and push back on the driver side. Now it gets tricky here because you have to bend the metal around the driver side hole up just a little, because the post will hit and you will not go anywhere. Then it just takes some pushing and pulling to get it out on the passenger side. Once the ps pops to the front, it is simple to get out....
This in not a job you want to do once a week, and heavy gloves are a must unless you have good insurance and like blood:)
Pics tomorrow.

Maybe a footrest next:)

Sound you had fun like I did in my Hartge H35-24 m3 clone. I'm interested if your drive side will clear cover?
I like your Hartge deco stripes on you H26. I will be doing the same and same color on my H35 clone. On my future H27 I'm not going to use Hartge deco stripes.Projects Hartge,Alpina & AC Schnitzer Builds.http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=280601

Hey Raul: I had a special cap made for the cover so the diver side will clear the post. I am going to check into the rhd cover this week, but I have a feeling it will not clear.
The deco stripes really changed the look of the h26. Seems like it is more complete now, or finished:)
I have a few items to finish, like hooking up the oil pressure gauge and working out the radio situation; but for the most part I am done with parts.
Now if I found the correct rear valance, I might try to get it:)
Those footrests would really complete the interior.
Looking forward to seeing the h35 with the deco kit on it:)

At least it is a mono wiper. The wiper blade does not look like what

Well finally got the oil pressure and temp working...
Running 2 bar at idle 30psi
and 50cel at idle 122 F.
Car idles at 14.4 air/fuel mix and is pretty smooth.
Will take it out this week to test everything out. All the sensors went in and no leaks so far:)
Have to work on the brakes tomorrow....got a sensor light on, but I am pretty sure its just the sensor is not in correctly.
