Nice bung holes on them headers! :nice: Will they stay shiny after after some use, or is there a plan to coat or wrap them with something? Loving the build so far.

Haven't decided yet. Probably a coating to keep the heat down.

Thanks to Bimmerguy91 (Austin) on this board for working on my tail lights. I wanted the all red look, with a very very slight tint to it, nothing dark almost like a 35% window tint where you know its got a tint but you can barely tell.

Anyway he has made some progress, they are not tinted yet but he went through the first stage of cleaning them all up, and applying the red to the amber areas. Next will be polishing them all, tinting them and sealing them up.

Here are a few pics of the first part of the process.

Jordan ran them on his car et20 with no roll. Same wheels and tires.

This was his most recent PM to me.

Wouldnt it be the other way? If you have 22 et and then a 3mm spacer it would be 19 right? The further you push out the number gets lower.

Mayne i have this completely wrong but it was a +22wheel therefore a 3mm spacer would make it a +25

Yes it was a 22 wheel but a spacer would lower the offset not raise it. So a 22 with a 3 becomes 19 not 25.

Correct. Adding spacers lowers the offset. 22mm offset with a 3mm spacer is 19mm total offset.

A few things done today, finally got the front brakes done on both sides including the new lines. I need to bleed them still.




The car is on its wheels for a first time in a while. Not sure if I am super happy with the front wheels though I needed to get to a 19 offset to clear the brakes, they poke a bit further then I want. I will see if they bother me if not they may be for sale as much as I love them.

Also the lights came in from Bimmerguy91 they look awesome!!






Need to get better pics with them on in the sunlight.
