Is that an Opel on the 4th photo up from the bottom of your last post?

Car looks good, I say stay spoilerless.

Dont do a spoiler. Ive seen a real e30 m3 vert in person that had a mtech 2 spoiler on it, and it killed me inside. No spoiler is definitely the way to go.

Thanks, yeah that's the plan. M3 cabrios came with no spoiler/no wing/no 3rd brake light. Just a clean trunk lid with the badge.

I've been very tempted to get a zender evo or something to put on there, but every time I talk myself out of it. I've seen a few of these cars (replicas or originals) with various spoilers and I can't bring myself to do it.

I love it with no spoiler/ wing. Are you going to leave it like that?

Alright, not much in the way of actual updates but I did snap some more photos showing the general exterior progress. There were a couple little things that still need to get taken care of, so I'm planning on picking it up later this week. The major work this week will be finishing up the doors.

Here are some photos I took on Friday.

The side skirts are shaped slightly different than the M3 coupe which was throwing us at first. I think we have it figured out now.

Now that the arches are wider I can finally drop the rear back down :p

Thanks for the comments, all. I'm beyond excited to get her home and into the bodywork/paint stage. I am swinging by the shop tonight after work to check on the fitment of the sideskirts and to sign off on the work. Then I'll pick up the car next week and start blocking out the rest of the car while the doors get finished. Things are coming together!

And here's how the doors were done on the Detailwagen:
