Got some bad news this morning.

ECS have updated my order for the e30 M3 convertible fenders, saying they are backordered with no ETA. Really sucks for me as I triple checked with them that they could get them, my status was "Product Inbound", so I sold my coupe fenders locally.

Now I have to rebuy coupe fenders and modify them, unless some miracle happens. I'm going to keep my order open just in case, as it'll be a while before this thing is ready for paint. Worst-case scenario I run the coupe fenders, and if one day I come across vert M3 fenders I can paint them and bolt them on.

Really bummed out about this turn of events.

No wing, no 3rd brake light. Just like BMW made 'em!

Finally got wheels on the ground. Rear subframe is refreshed with new subframe bushings, SS brake lines, and swaybar endlinks. The diff bushing was starting to go bad, I have a replacement but didn't have any success removing it in-situ. I'll pull the diff cover later and press it out on the bench.

Otherwise things went smoothly, hoping to get the driveshaft in tonight. From a mechanical standpoint, all that's left then is all the various reconnecting/buttoning up in the engine bay.

    Getting closer!
