Jean its only a lowly M10 , no need for special coolant . Hahaha :p

No really just like Devon said ...use regular antifreeze ..stay away from the dexcool type stuff .

If you really want to be a baller jean you can step up to Evans waterless coolant like I've got for my S52 .
Way better cooling properties and in the unlikely event that it gets cold enough to freeze it well actually shrink instead of expand and cause possible damage .

Couple minor items, i lip and rear plate filler and newer brake ducts.

It looks like the brake ducts are supposed to mount to something on the side closest to the engine, but there is nothing there to mount them to. Unlike my old brake ducts....strange.

i lip installed, I didn't want to get an iS lip yet, maybe once it's got some power then I will.

ZM Blue Devil - thanks! Plan is to get flat black or gunmetal rota slips in 15x8 or maybe 16x8, but I am going to wait until my current brand new rt615s need to be replaced. For now I am just going with black door/fender molding.

Gotta love it when ups / fedex truck arrives lol.

microfiber headliner and rear shelf, thanks to rscheiring.
black oem floor mats, thanks to starwind.
simple pioneer mp3 hu and polk db speakers
polished cluster gauge rings, inspired by http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=86125

Finally picked up a portable air tank from sears, only $20, now gotta get a good tire gauge and Carbotech ax6 (panther plus) pads.

akg engine mounts, subframe and trailing arm bushings a little bit later.

I really need to fix my shifter, after ordering and installing a bunch of oem shifter components from bma it's still got just as much slop in it Might wait on this until later and add a z4 shifter or something.

Starting to look for m50/s50 parts, I think I am going to do it in peices. Head, get it cleaned/rebuilt then block, do the same, and replace all wear items etc instead of buying a used engine w/o any records.

Got some basketweaves, haven't switched the tires yet from my bottlecaps.

test fitted just to make sure before I take them to a tire shop

No idea why I did this...

Wow, that's a lot of progress in a few weeks!

I exclusively use Zerex G-05 coolant. BMW uses Zerex G-048, but the G-05 is readily available at Auto Zone for $11 a gallon. It is nearly the same formulation as G-048 and is recommended for Mercedes. Good enough for me!

Everything looks great, Jean! You're doing awesome work there, very clean. Could we get a shot of the rear plate filler mounted? I've never seen one on a black car before, and I'm getting one soon.

Sure, i'll do that tomorrow if it doesn't rain outside. Going to see if I can score an m50 head and e34 oil pan :) I got a bad m10 head here too, good thing I didn't throw it away, could use it as a "core" lol.

Jean, you are the man. Srsly. Nice work. I really like what you are doing. Keep up the good work. I love the lip too, btw. I actually just got my i lip today and it makes the front end look 100% better.
