I would love to know what products you are using to bond your plastic pieces together. Like the stuff you used on your center console?
How to remove, install or convert to pop out windows

Satellite City CA to bond and Automix products to fill. I can get specific numbers later. You’ll always run into dissimilar materials expanding/contracting at different rates and shrinkage (die back) with plastics so, always intend on upholstering or molding/reproducing things you Frankenstein up.

I have been hesitant to try somethings because I wasn't sure what to use. There are too many recommendations on google. So someone with some experience and skill's recommendation is what I was looking for. Thank you.

The thing that takes some knowledge is knowing what kind of plastic you’re working with. Most all interior plastics are solvent based. If you put some acetone on a towel and scrub the backside of the part and the towel has some of the color from the plastic, then you’re golden. Just glue it with CA. If the towel is clean the plastic is much harder to work with. Bumpers are like this. Ashtray parts are usually like this (although different materials). Those plastics you need to “weld” together before filling. I use a spare soldering iron for that.

                Glue:

                Satellite City CA Glue Set of 3 - (1) Original Thin, (1) Super T Medium, (1) Special T Thick - 2 oz Bottles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FL00GLQ..._OE8QAbPHS7HET

I use mostly the medium. LOT and LOTS of it.

                Activator:

                FastCap 12-Ounce Activator https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006IUWC2..._9F8QAbKWYMPTE

                Rigid filler

“Flexible” filler (not really FLEXIBLE, but definitely has more give)

                3M 05887 EZ Sand Flexible Parts Repair - 200 ml https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PENEN6..._qJ8QAbZ9MMGCH

I’m not dead. Just busy with work/life and have just been enjoying the car as is. This is also the time of year I typically go dark until the first event of the year (the iPd garage sale in Portland). I know it’s silly. Just fun for me. Creates a little intrigue.

Here’s a sneak peek to keep my thread relevant for now (interesting note: I was in a “car club” called Sneak Peek in the early 90s that was for in progress cars)
