New shoes have arrived , I’ve waited for these for a long time . Ideally I wanted 15x9 but they currently have no eta so I had settle on 15x10. JRW 500 series 10 offset in e30 fitment . next I need to test fit big brake template .

I need to see how these fit, have a couple of ideas and options .
                  1. See how 245/40 fit , if they don’t look stretched then that could be my street tire to replace the current 15x8 with 225s that I could then sell
                  2. Get another set of 15x10 specifically for 265 or 275 stickies , or if the 15x9
Get released get those for street tires ..

Either way I think car will have to go under the knife unless I stick with 245s ?

Honestly , don’t know yet. I don’t want rivet flares or anything like that . I am curious if 245s will clear under stock body first though .

User robgoesvroom has pictures of this setup, its a fairly pokey in the front.

F34R's car has 245's in the rear under early flares but it took a fair bit of pulling, theyre also on 17"x9" wheels and the car is low af. I feel like you could make it work though. idk about fronts..

To get my manual brakes sorted (with Massives offset dual MC mount) I called Gary at Tilton, which he had me fill out a form, which takes into account the tires you are running, weight and weight bias of the car and they can then get you sorted as to which MCs and Calipers you will need for a handful of choices of leg effort. DO NOT GUESS ANY THING, it must be measured.

Mine now feels proper with my manual brakes, still high effort but very controllable. Though I may step down from 85 lbs of effort, but it means longer pedal travel.

For example, for MY car (no one should follow this because my car is not stock anywhere in the brake system or weight), but Tilton gave me 4 ideas. I had thought I wanted 100 lbs of leg effort, I was very wrong. I will most likely change to #4 and use my 6.9 pedal ratio (Why does it say 7.1? Because I estimated....and therefore I have slightly higher than 85lb pedal effort)

Thanks dude! I can't stand the brake situation, I chatted with Lee many times and funny you just posted this stuff above :)

I just ordered his 300x32 race kit for the front, I have not ordered calipers yet as I want to do some math and figure our what I really need for the MC's that I already have in place. I am using dual 5/8s for the front/rear brakes, and there are at least 3 caliper piston size options for the 4piston calipers.

Next I'll need to order his rear kit as well, and I want to end up with solid perfoming brakes and never had to deal with this shit ever again. I've said this before and i'll say it again, if I only knew how shitty performance would be with the wilwood manual pedal box and stock e30 calipers I would have gone the route of remote brake booster (aka e32/e34).

Btw race kit clears these wheels w/o any spacers !
