All of the small parts are painted, baked and out of the booth. I'm going to pick these up in a few days but it looks like the colorsanding process on the chassis and body panels is going to spill into next week.

Stopped by Imperial Collision yesterday to pickup a few small parts that were done, and check on the car. The entire chassis has been wet sanded to knock down the minimal orange peel for a glass like finish and should be buffed early next week.



Assembling the rear bumper with a new VIN sticker on the bumper carrier.



Shock to carrier brackets.



Cover and carrier snapped together and fastened with expanding rivets.

I noticed you are using centered front control arm bushings for this build and I recall you last e30 project had offset M3 units. What’s is the reason behind it, if you don’t mind me asking

Different mentality and goal for two very different vehicle builds. The Imola car was a restomod, this is more a concours restoration with some minor (mainly euro spec) deviations.

I reused both, nothing wrong with them and they cleaned up just fine.

Got her completely buffed following wet sanding and demasked, out in the sun for some quick pictures yesterday before it started raining. It's suppose to rain all week so I can't go pick it up until the weather clears out.
