Got the oil pan on and the top end is pretty much all buttoned up as well. Waiting on the harness to be completed and then I gotta start figuring out the small annoying details of the build haha.

Starting to look like a motor. The oil filter housing is not mounted fully yet because I need to modify the E46 M3 heater pipe to integrate a coolant pipe to the reservoir. The Z4M piece is like $230 O_O for a metal pipe. That's not happening... S54 bits are expensive enough as it is... would rather spend that on something I actually need.

You should check out the csl replica intakes or S54 velocity stacks both require a Alpha N ish tune of some sort and add 20-30 hp. I believe Kassel will preload the tune for the upgraded intake on to there swap dme. If that's the route your taking.

Modified the E46 coolant pipe to integrate the E30 coolant reservoir.
Now its a proper M motor LOL:

I couldn't justify the $240 Z4 M coolant pipe from BMW... with this route I can keep my E30 reservoir and not worry about any interference with the A/C lines once I reach that stage in the build.Last edited by dude8383; 10-08-2018, 12:16 PM.IG: deniso_nsi Leave me feedback here
