Because... Well well well, what do we have here, Back again! Sleeting on the way down, cold but good. Before this weekend I added -.3 camber all round, I tick of rear toe in to hit 5/32 in. Grabbed about 1/32 in from Zero tow up front to help with some tire wear, steering feel is great. Lowered can pressure to about 115 PSI.
2nd day Sunday was groovy. Car is HOOKED. I still feel like a softer rear spring is needed.

And you know what time it is, its the beginning of the month and its Discount Halloween candy time. On bag per year...
And now it looks like there are some track days remaining at NCM (National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park). They have sound, so I thought id come prepared. No setup changes from Putnum. Its a one day event, scheduled on the non rainy day. Should be enough not to get overwhelmed and get familiar again.
Some last minute fixings just incase...
Always wanted to try one, its cool being quiet but has no power... Needs more shims for the supertrapp..

Racing buddy back at track together. Been 2 years since last AER race.
Filling up air after the event. Was a great event! I think I hit 101DB @ 50 and the limit is 103. So depending on weather or if the packing starts to burn up, I may have to run the silencer tip in the future.
Getting more miles! just clocked 16000.

Dip isn't 6300, your anomalies are around 4300.
It will live to 8500, but your harmonic damper won't survive, and I hope you have the Euro (or NV US) oil pump chain tensioner, or that system will vibrate to death.
Yes, Mark is a great tuner, worth reaching out. Last time we chatted, he was doing much later DME's than millennium baby 6's.

So looking though the run files, it looks the actual last sent run file doesn't have the dip at 6300.
Hopefully this spring well find out if it makes power to 8K.

Based on your NA peak power, I would gather you will be closer to 300whp when you get everything sorted. Quality ITB's have shown me 30-ish WHP on almost every build.

The Epic tune was locked, so the next tuner had to start from scratch.
Agree closer to 13 would be good. Not many places my way do ms41 tuning around here..
I haven’t looked into the tune, with peak TQ so late maybe the Vanos is switching at 6300.

Timing should remain close to the same since your long block is still there.
AFR's don't change delta as much as people think in NA. Appears to me that the second tuner might not be familiar with BMW, but they really don't need 12.5:1 target at WOT. I find they are happier around 13-13.5.
Some funky curves there, both of them. The first pull with the red line shouldn't have that dip from 4700-5200, that arc should carry across the graph. Just looking at the dyno sheet, doesn't appear to be a fuel issue. Then the ITB graph has that same weird dip.
I suggest you maybe play with cam timing, or even eliminate the VANOS in a race car.

A follow up from Sept 2022.
I finally have a comparison of the dyno charts back to back of M50 intake vs S54 Intake, Notes on sheet.
And.. I'm not sure if id consider it apples to apples as the same tuner didn't do both. You can see what they both tune the AFR's to. I assume there is more on the Stage Fab tune, and not sure why the Redline isn't higher as we originally spoke. .
Randy at Epic didn't want to fool with the tune on the ITB setup because you had to change the range of the TPS at idle.. and also at WOT. Safe is better than grenade'd I suppose. Just more motivated for the offseason mods. :)
