My e30 Project... Mtech II sedan, Jlines, Vaders, M50 and much more...
I got a little bit of work done today. I just got the rear window locked in and the gasket cleaned. The car is now fult driveable. I dont have to worry about the windows flying out or the doors not locking.
Window coming out
Seal.
I cleaned the seal out and it has no overspray on it now
Window back in
Seal on
All done
This car has come a long way...nicely done...did you get the central locking squared away? My issue was related to the driver's door actuator going bad.
Thank you.
Yeah, it was the CLS thinking the drivers door was open. There is a wire harness behind the speaker, the main one thst goes into the door. Inside of that I had a little mini harness disconected

As far as getting shine out of the dashboard, door cards, & center console...instead of using something like Armor All or any shine/cleaning products, use Olive Oil.
The Vitamin D in olive oil makes the plastic clean & restores the shine without it being obnoxiously shiny or greasy. If you rub it enough evenly throughout all surfaces, it'll look naturally clean. I regularly clean the dash on my car with olive oil & I also don't have any cracks, especially in the hot TX sun.
Thank you for the info. I will be doing that asap.

Well I got the car cleaned up for te most part today. I missed a few parts in the interior, and some wax in crevices, because I lost my cleaning brushes some where in my clean garage. I also need to bring the shine out of the dash board. I need to do something about those seat backs. I may wrap them in vinyl.

I need to fix the OBC, find a few small interior parts, clean the windshield and rear window gaskets, and lock them in. I also need to clean the engine bay and clear coat the tails. Then the ICE.
I also washed the outside and took some practice photos with my new SLR. This was a quick impromtu photoshoot. There is still some more work to do before the final shoot.
I also tried some rolling shots, but I had the shutter speed too quick, so you cant really tell.
I just spent all night reading this thread. I just want to say that you have a very steadfast attitude and all the props to you. I would have been discouraged and given up with all of the hurdles that were laid in front of you. The car looks amazing bro. Keep up the posts.
