      Yeah it bothers me. I did the best I could with a scratch pad. I will end up painting them when it is warmer out.

          I painted mine with Rustoleum Metallic Silver, and they look great. It's been over 2 years since I did it, not a chip.

                            No excuses. Find someone with a garage.

                            I finished removing the rest of my pinstripe, much to the dismay of my drill's batteries.

                            The painted-on stuff is thinner and more faint in some areas than others, so hopefully a good body shop with a competent detail guy can cut them off without damaging the paint underneath.
