What did you do to your E30 today?

Yesterday, Andrew and I replaced my E36 window switches (one died, so we replaced them both with lighted ones), replaced my sunroof switch with an E36 switch, and finally after like 5 years, spliced in my late-model foglight pigtails, so I finally have functioning foglights.

I really would like to do the e36 retrofit. However, I think I am going to take it one step further and install the one touch as outlined by a member on here.

Also, I haven't even seen my car in a week. I hope to drive it later on tonite.

Continued to work on project money pit. Laid the cams, sprockets, valve cover.



Threw the ITBs on for looks. They will go on once its in the car.

Removed my entire front suspension because its all junk except the struts... those top ball joint nuts where a HUGE pita with the engine still in the car

SSR comps should be getting rubber later this week.




I cleaned up and painted the valve cover and manifold. I took the valve cover off for the job because I needed a new valve cover gasket, but i didnt remove the manifold. i just masked it off. I think it turned out well. especially if you had seen how bad it looked before i started.




Also, I installed a new clutch slave cylinder. it was a good day.

bought it recently. today ordered shift knob, couple relays, blower resistor, bentley manual, odometer gears, delrin shifter bushings, dssr, cap, rotor, plugs, fuel filter, hood support, and just for fun a keyless entry system. adds up quick.
