my car repair is going so slow! i am having a really hard time welding body parts with my mig welder. just keep burning wholes threw shit. wish i knew how to tig weld, and had a tig welder. any tips for what to do? maybe smaller wire or something?

smaller wire would help. less heat and if your heat is already low slow down the wire speed.

yeah, its taking me some time to get the potion right so to speak. Posting from my new droid in my new shop, but anyway I just had a big long message written out and r3v decided not to work when I hit sand so here's some cliff notes.

Car is at my shop, and the hack firewall patch has ben removed, including the metal to the transmission tunnel that was rusted out from the heater box.

Still contemplating what to do with the quarters, but the nose job is next. Once the patch is in I will rehang the doors and bring my new fenders and nose down to align the front just right, then it is time go the rear. At least now I have room to work on it, and some money but rent is there. Buy my shirts! It helps :)

Ahhhh.... Nice, Crg was my second guess. I use to have a Margay with a watercooled cr125. I miss that damn thing. Shifter Karts are the ultimate race cars! Top performance in every aspect. Btw, your build thread is awesome. We need a welding and fabrication section so people including myself can post up their work.

Yeah, a fabrication only project forum would be really cool. Infact I am thinking about selling my parilla for a cr125. Ive had my fun and winnings with the single speed ;)
