Very nice welds. We can see the regular pulses...
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Stitch welds and ends were MIG, sides of the plates are TIG.

I don't even know welding too well, but I know those welds are tits.

very nice welding. some day i will be able to do that. i am taking a welding class at city college this semester, and am planing on doing a lot of mig this summer to practice. i wish tig welders did not cost so frickin much!
nice to see your back on this project. im going to have to take a brake from mine for a few months. had to pay off the credit card and a $200 speeding ticket.

Those are my buddies welds on those arms, but everything else is me. I just threw down the money for a good MIG welder years ago. I've done some oxy acetylene welding too, and I kinda learned it quick. Took a couple classes at the JC, but it didn't really teach me anything new that I didn't know already from trial and error and reading online.

The progress of my 02 is being greatly dampened by not having our shop space yet, and having to put money into my M52 swap for my 'vert. Gotta smog it in June, and there's no way in hell my M20 is going to pass it, besides especially without a cat.

May have noticed, I finished that logo. It's the shop/company logo, so please don't go copying it just because ya think its cool :) I'll probably be getting some shirts and what not made with this. My parents do embroidery, and an uncle of mine does screen printing. I already have a hoodie with it embroidered with the shop name Precision Motorsport next to it.

the welds are nice, need to slow down a little the beads are far apart. keep them closer for a strong weld.

for what these are being used for i am sure its more then strong enough.

The welder who did those arms has been at it professionally for 21 straight years and counting including classified military jobs with clearances and certifications. There's full penetration on those, I'm not sure if you're referring to the MIG or TIG on them but none of the flat welds were particularly fast. But you're absolutely right at least on the strength, lol. Way beefier. We'll have a mill and lathe in hopefully relatively short order and I can be cranking out all sorts of even tricker shit for my car and to sell :)
