I wish :( but you did anyway. Lol

I was starting work on it for the rear panel and trunk floor replacement, before I do the quarters, then literally a day or two later my e30 got totalled. I have since been working on my new e30 to get something to drive :( Believe me, if my e30 wasnt hit January 9th, thats a lot of time, I would have had at least those two panels in place and working on the quarters by now. Once "e30 project" is on the road, the 02 will be put in express mode.

I've been trying to get some shop space with Martin lately and are almost ready to move all our shit into the shop then this will take off, no questions asked. I am also paying off my debt that I buried myself with in this project.

O.k after hour of reading the 2002 resurrection.

I was sad to here this part.

So I call Martin to ask more about this 2002 .

My 2002 is on the first back burner, it sucks but I'm waiting currently to find a suitable location in WA where I have enough room to work on it. Timeline this year started out with my vert being totaled in January by another driver; I had planned to start the major 02 bodywork surgery literally the next day. I was super fuckin' pissed off to say the least. That started my e30 project in my sig, because I needed a car to drive. I finished right before the e30 picnic and it broke down just before Portland. Went to the picnic, flew home, drove back to Portland to pick up my car with my dad (alternator died in his truck on the way too.. omgwtfbbq) then went to James' house and crashed there for like a month and a half. Mostly waiting for headlights to arrive that never did, from Germany. On my way up both of my e30 smiley's lights were destroyed on my driver side by an errant piece of bark kicked up by the e30 I was travelling with from CA. Came back to CA to remove all my shit from the shop with Martin, and throw it in a storage unit then continue back and look for employment in WA. Well, that's where I'm at now and looking for somewhere I can put my things and bang out my 02 with a vengance to completion.

I do need two all metal (no filler) quarter panels with zero rot cut from the middle of the C pillars though still.

I know it sounds like endless excuses, and it honestly feels like it to myself. Heartbreaking really that I haven't started the metalwork. It's the biggest hurdle and I have to absolutely get it done perfectly. Kind of hard without quarters yet, though. Harder without room, but that's what I'm back in the hunt again for. Such random incidents have delayed progress. It's pathetic.

Yup! I recall him mentioning you, all I recall is that there was some friend of his in AZ doing some crazy projects. That youtube video is actually of my e30 in my sig below.

What have I got here my friends? The two "last" pieces of body work sections I need. They seem pretty straight, doesn't look or feel like much filler in them either, but almost anything is better than whats on the car now...

200 for both, and I get to figure out how to detach them safely from the car because they aer cut around the body panel lines. Basically just like not removed from the car, just missing the car :)

Ok, so I've finally gotten a place where I can live and work on my project in a comfortable environment. It also happens to be the new home of German Audio Specialties. There's a post in the general forum about our move.

Basically since I've moved out of the shop, I've been paying ~220 a month for storage to keep my 2002 shell and a whole bunch of parts/random crap. I need to free up that money every month and get all my belongings up to Washington with the quickness. As in, the next couple of weeks probably.

Ill have pics of everything, even loading all of my crap in a trailer from Cali. I've had this car for 14 years (!!!), I NEED to get working on it with serious intent on ACTUALLY finishing it rather than finding more stuff to do lol. It should be up in WA along with all my parts and tools within the month for sure.

                      Stay tuned!

Right on Jeremy! You gotta come up some time and check this place out. I expect that some time this year when the weather isn't TOO shitty, the first annual GASFest with a chilli cookoff, camping and bonfires will happen. The area is big and driveway long. No parking on the grass, but we could still get a solid number of cars parked.

That picture of the house was about halfway up the driveway.

Same number you have. We'll be getting Verizon for internet out there, by adding two lines and a wireless access point to my plan. Ill be keeping my same number.
