I hope you have your tuning solved before you toss it all those new parts... Looks like it'll be fun.

Lol yeah thats a pre-req for this install :)

Im gonna throw the stock gasket from the top end kit and the arp studs in my motor now so i can drive it enough to learn how to tune and get MS all sorted out.

If i cant get it to work, ill buy a sealed standalone ems or something hahaha

So I know why Jon Volk charges like $250 for a 6-1 turbo merge collector.

It actually came together pretty well once i figured it out and got my little jig working well.

And yes I cut all the pipes on the chop saw. Surprising how well it all fits..

Nice dude. Are you going to oring the bores or pyramid ring them? I would be a little worried about the thin cylinder spacing.

Im not 100% sure yet. I am set on building a 84.5mm block though. That said, probably o-rings cause its cheaper haha.

Im starting to get into the stock ecu. Ive got a bin file for my ecu and ive found a few maps and now i know what the designations are for some of the important variables. So im learning a lot about that and i also learned that its pretty difficult to get around the HFM in these ecu's but it is do able.

Im planning on pulling the head this weekend or next to throw in another stock gasket and arp studs just because and to get me through winter. I'll mock up the new manifold and get the two flanges attached to each other so i can do work on that. If the cylinder head is cracked then im buying a junkyard vanos motor. All the maps are already found and you can run a 3.5" maf and get away with it. And you can hand it over to someone who knows what theyre doing when and if you fuck up haha.

Who says you need a tig welder and a horizontal band saw to make cool parts?!

Very nice man! Looks like its coming along nicely.

BTW, the shop I work for has a super nice Miller Dynasty 200 that you could possibly use to clean up those welds. :p
