Not much progress, it's too damn hot and going to be 100 tomorrow as well... argh.



Removed rear springs, rear shocks/mounts ready to be removed. Need to drain the fuel and brake fluid next and finally drop the whole rear end.

$15 for carpet. I hate installing this. Pedals are in the way, need to figure out how to remove the accel pedal w/o braking it to make this easier.



Also picked up a clean dash today, to replace the cracked dash. After a little bit of cleaning with :








I'll probably install it in my 318i, and the 318i dash (it's got a couple spots that I don't like) will go into this car instead.

Yeah dash swaps are no fun, but oh well... . we'll see how rear subframe bushings change will work. I so want to cut that rear tire well out, but it's a no-no in the rule book....

Will start with Ground Control camber plates that I already have, and DA Advance Design shocks with 700front/900rear springs.

Damn you m20 cars with that stupid "TORSIONAL VIBRATION ABSORBER". Got all of the bolts off on the drive shaft, and that damn metal absorber around the guibo is being a biatch....

Bottom end with oil pan and tranny ready to come out once I free up my engine hoist from the m50. I am going to remove the front subframe at the same time and get it hot-tanked as well and clean up the engine comportment as it's filthy.

tranny is pretty light, compared to the m20 bottom end



now time to remove the steering rack, front subframe and do a clean up and prep
