I bought a set of 6 Mahle 84.5mm double over stock pistons from RMeuropean back in 2023 for $597 shipped. They were $99.50/ea, now $126.87/ea. Annoying how that happens.

One of my customers has a low mile m20b27 i'm picking up when I get back from my trip next week. Then I got a couple client cars ahead of mine, so hopefully I'll be putting this engine together in the next few weeks and I'll just swap mine out for the 2.7 which should help expedite this whole process

Imma keep it pretty simple here. basically a 2.7i with a 2mm decked block. euro b25 pistons. I think I'll end up around 10.4:1 which is perfect

but yeah that some ITBs and a cam and obviously some steel rockers

Shouldn't cost all that much with this setup. The b27 is gonna be free, I'm gonna machine the block here, so maybe like 4-5k all in

Well, this project got put off to the side for a bit.

My neighbor here at the shop moved out and I took over the space. Added about 1600 sq ft.

Now I'm sitting at about 5k, which I needed badly.

I'll be spending my time turning that space from a kitchen to garage. I'll be putting two four post lifts in the back so I can store my turds there instead of my house.

I'll post some pics when it starts looking like a shop.

Good thing is I'll have the space to work on my own projects. That was difficult to do in the past cuz my shop is always filled w client cars (a good problem)
