I hate/love that truck but I ain't gonna do all that plus whatever else it most likely needs. 230k miles on that guy.

Sounds fun buying cars from clients. Especially if they just dumped a bunch of money into all the maintenance items, and you know EXACTLY what was done to it. Also, done to your own standards.

Sucks the IE Mahle 2.9L pistons dried up, as they were the clear winner out of what was available.

If you're doing headwork and have to order custom pistons, start with an s52 crank IMO.

might keep it simple and do a 2.7 and deck the block (eta crnak, rods, i pistons -2mm deck)

plus itbs, should be making pretty solid power

I feel like I can do that for relatively cheap. I got my buddy who has a 60k mile eta long block he was going to give me for free.
