    Any truth to this?

If the Browns deal Quinn, I'll be so pissed. They did everything they could to get him in the draft and they haven't even given him a chance yet. The few games that he did start, he showed a lot of promise. We hired one fat dumbass coach to replace another. I wanted Josh McDaniels to come home and coach the Browns. This organization has taken fail to a new level since returning to the league.

I'm happy with this. He obviously didn't want to play for Buffalo anymore based on his poor play last season. He skipped all of the 08' offseason and it looked like he was planning on doing it again in 09'.

      I say good riddance.

He had 2 years left on his contract with Buffalo and he was basically not honoring it. Buffalo was willing to negotiate and was offering in the 9m/yr area to restructure.

Buffalo brought him in as an undrafted TE and formed him into the LT he is today. Buffalo owes him nothing.

Yes it sucks to lose possibly your best player, but he was not playing like he did in 07'. Both teams are better off now, no one got the better end of the deal. Good trade.

Buffalos top 3 picks are 11, 28, and 42 overall.

      11: Oher (OT)
      28: Mack (C/G)
      42: Best DE left

I like the trade. I wasnt ok with a 1 and a 3, but the package is a nice one. Buffalo isnt winning the Super Bowl this year, and Philly will be the favorite in the NFC. We have a proven LT, and Buffalo can now get one to protect for the future. I think Peters was just soured and he was being a crybaby bitch last year with you guys. He has a fresh start, and you have potential for a new LT.

Im not sure how Id feel about Oher at 11. #11 is a bad pick this year. You wont be able to get Smith, Monroe or Andre... but I dont think Oher is a #11 pick. They may be better served drafting an Orakpo or Everette Brown at #11, and selecting someone like a Beatty from Arizona at #28.

What I Really dont get is the rumor of Buffalo shopping Roscoe Parrish. Unless you get a 2nd round pick (I dont see anyone paying a #2 for him), I think its a bad move.

Philly basically traded Jeff Otah (who went to Carolina) for Jason Peters. I like that trade, we made out. Im hopeful we can still work something out for Boldin. The Giants have a #2 and a #5 on the table for him. I think if we step it up to a #1 and a #5, the Cardinals wont be able to pass it up. The good news is that many people are saying the Giants are interested in Braylon more than Boldin, because he fits their style, more of a vertical threat. Boldin fits that west coast (philly) offense more, so hed be perfect in philly. We already have Jackson and Curtis who are burners and spread the field. I dont see us not making it to the Super Bowl with Boldin. I dont see why we would fear giving up that first round pick. Theres NOTHING we really need, besides a star WR. The fac is even if we draft a stud WR, he wont be a star this year. Why NOT give it up for Boldin? If we keep it, we draft probably Moreno at RB. Id much rather have Boldin, Delmas #2 and Shonne green in the 3rd round, than Moreno, Delmas (safety) and whatever else in the 3rd. I dont think theres much drop off from Moreno to Greene.

        Enough of my rant.

Hell yes... Joe Banner came out and said not to rule out Philly trading our other number one to get Boldin. If we get Boldin.... Theres no stopping us. I was reading an article yesterday, though. There havent been many teams with a solid #1 super star WR, who won the SB. The last team was the Colts in 06 with Marvin and Reggie Wayne. I almost dont even care if we get Boldin. Itd be good to get him, but it wont be make or break. If we can draft Knowshown at #21, and fill some other gaps with the rest of our picks, Id also be happy. Who were the top teams last year? Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Philly, Giants. They dont have real stud WRs, its all about running (except Philly) ,and defense. Picking up Marvin Harrison might be the right move. The only thing that makes it a tough decision, regarding boldin, is the fact that we ARE so stacked. Theres nothing to do with those draft picks, we dont have needs, besides a possible #1 WR. It seems like we may as well just trade it for Boldin, and get a RB like Shonne Greene in the second round. Its a nice luxury to have as the draft nears. There is not one weakness on the Eagles. Period.

KC shows why they suck dick year in and year out. You pass up Curry for Tyson Jackson? Go sit in irrelevance with Tamba Hali, Mr. Jackson. At least Curry will go to a solid franchise, who is better than their #4 pick. I hope he does well, hes probably the best GUY and player in the draft.

Nope, but they should have. They shouldnt have drafted two OT, and also signed Tra Thomas. But thats fine. I dont get how Heyward-Bey was drafted over Crabtree, its mind boggling. Im VERY VERY happy with the Eagles' picks. Jeremy Maclin all the way down to #19? So we got Jason Peters, Jeremy Maclin, and LeSean McCoy? McCoy is a nice player, he should be a nice compliment to Westbrook. I would have kind of liked to see us take a safety, and Shonn Greene in the 3rd, though. McCoy is a Westbrook lite, Greene is a different style, he could pound the ball. Either way, Im more than ok with the picks. Oakland fucking up the draft paid dividends to the Eagles.

I'm late to this thread, but oh well. J I feel that your eagles had a great draft. I was actually really hoping that the hawks would have taken McCoy. I think he is going to end up being a great running back. And westbrook isn't getting any younger, so the split time with a good back will benefit his play. Also, Brandon Gibson played at Bethel high school which was our rival. He is actually a really good kid, we used to hang out every so often. I think he will end up being a good pick up as well.

I think the seahawks did well, but could have done a bit better. I am happy that Curry slipped to #4, and I am absolutely ecstatic that they didn't take Sanchez. I could be wrong, but I think that he will not end up being what he's hyped up to be -- just another Leinart. We will need a new QB in the next 2-3 years, but he's not the one. My good friend Mike Reiley who played QB here at Central Washington didn't get drafted. I am not completely surprised by that, but I would have expected to see him go before the guy from West Texas. He signed with the Steelers just after the draft, so I'm hoping he'll do well. He was the best quarterback in division 2 football.

I'm really happy with the texan's draft. They picked a really versatile group of players and addressed all other needs with UDFAs. I think we have an awesome bunch going into training camp.

I'm really pleased with Buffalo's draft picks. I was disappointed when they passed on Jared Cook in the 2nd round, but was surprised that Shawn Nelson was still there in the 4th. I think we picked up 3 or 4 day 1 starters out of this draft.

                            From NFL.com:

                            Round 1, Pick 11 (11) Aaron Maybin DE 6'4" 249 Penn State
Pick Analysis:The Bills take the dynamic pass-rushing specialist from Penn State. Though Maybin left State College, Pa., as a one-year starter, he racked up 12 sacks in his final season and dazzled scouts with his exceptional first-step quickness. For a team in desperate need of a pass rush, Maybin appears to be the ideal fit.
Round 1, Pick 28 (28) (From Panthers through Eagles) Eric Wood C 6'4" 310 Louisville
Pick Analysis:The Bills add a versatile offensive lineman to their reshuffled lineup. Though Wood is viewed as a pivot by some scouts, he has the size, skills and football IQ to man several positions along the line. With the team attempting to cope with the loss of Jason Peters, Wood could be a key player in the Bills' rebuilding efforts.
                            Round 2, Pick 10 (42) Jairus Byrd CB 5'10" 207 Oregon
Pick Analysis:The former Duck is a natural ballhawk with outstanding coverage skills. He finished his collegiate career with 17 interceptions, and his penchant for producing game-changing turnovers will improve the Bills' secondary.
Round 2, Pick 19 (51) (From Cowboys) Andy Levitre OL 6'3" 305 Oregon State
Pick Analysis:The Bills make a trade to nab Levitre in the second round. The versatile former Beaver has the ability to play guard or tackle as a pro. With the Bills retooling their offensive line, the selection of Levitre gives the team options and depth at the position.
Round 4, Pick 21 (121) (From Eagles) Shawn Nelson TE 6'5" 240 Southern Miss
Pick Analysis:Nelson was one of the highest-rated tight ends in the draft and unexpectedly slipped to the fourth round. He has great size and catching ability but will need to work on his blocking. The Bills were looking for a tight end, and he will fill an immediate need.
                            Round 5, Pick 11 (147) Nic Harris S 6'2" 234 Oklahoma
Pick Analysis:The Bills take a chance on the safety-turned-linebacker prospect from Oklahoma. Harris isn't a polished product at this point, but his athleticism will improve the Bills' depth and special teams units.
                            Round 6, Pick 10 (183) Cary Harris CB 5'11" 187 Southern Cal
Pick Analysis:Harris has a solid press technique. He will be able to get up in the face of opposing wide receivers and play off of that. He ran very slow in his pro day, but he understands the position. His lack of speed could be his toughest hurdle to overcome in the NFL.
                            Round 7, Pick 11 (220) Ellis Lankster DB 5'9" 191 West Virginia
Pick Analysis:Lankster is a corner who plays very well against the run and who has excellent ball skills. He might be able to play some safety in the NFL and he has the potential to make the Bills' roster.

The Texans signed Rex Grossman today. Alot of people are freaking out - but he's our 3rd string QB. I can think of a lot of combinations worse than Shaub, Orvlosky (sp?), and Grossman. I can't wait for the season to start. My season tix are a ton better this year than last year.

As much as I don't like the guy, I still have to say that gross rexman is better than orlovski. But you are right, I don't know why it would be a big deal to anyone. Schaub is clearly the starter.

Up here things are looking very positive. The seahawks have had the best offseason of all the teams. The will show huge improvement, and will win the NFC west. Look out for Deon Butler to take Deon Branch's spot and have a big year.
