I really don't think it looks that bad.

Best shifter feel I've ever driven. Car is more than fast enough for me coming from my slow af cars lol.
If we were all smarter people, we'd just be driving one of those. The new 86/BRZ looks like a much better polished packaged than the previous gen.

I really like them, and in person they look a bit more premium for sure.

They killed one of their last "good" looking cars with the 2 Series restyling. The previous one actually looked nice. Some angles were still odd, but their styling decisions and design are so blah to me.

The new Prius I think looks better than basically any new BMW. "How the turntables have turned."

The new 2 is definitely not a good looking car. BMW's latest styling revision in general is a horror show. I've seen all of them aside from the electric models and M2 and only the 3 and 5 series approach decent. The bucktooth models are universally ugly. No, they aren't growing on me. Waiting to see the M2 to see just how bad the roblox styling looks in person, no interest in ever seeing the electrics, from the pics they're catastrophically ugly in comparison to the Lucids I've seen up in the northern end of the county.

Nice, I saw one just like that up at tail of the dragon last week. Some youtuber or something was reviewing new cars, I think the new toyobaru, Z and alfa SUV. The shifter in the toyobaru has to be on another level coming from old BMWs which are just terrible.

I don't know, VW just always seems to make underpowered cars. Nothing I'd call a fast dad wagon.

I like the B58, but the Nissan Altima styling doesn't do it for me. I do like the last gen ones a lot though.

I like that color a lot, especially with those black mirros.

    Congrats.

Haven't driven one myself, but pitted beside two supercharged FRS cars a few years ago in the Miata.
They made a glorious sound and went pretty well on track!

If I was in the market for a new car, they would be on my list.

I'm not optimistic. The Corolla GR is the first interesting thing to come out of Toyota in almost two decades, and of course they're going to make it in limited quantity and probably sell them all out for Golf R prices.

I'm picking up my GR86 in track bRed this week. MSRP, 6MT base. Very excited, hoping it'll compliment my old turd of a K10 and E30 nicely.

The blocked oil pickup tube is a slight concern, but hopefully the 2023 models have it fixed.
