yah thats very sad to hear that. and yahh i think your board is not meant so much for bombin hills or carving at higher speeds. not to say it cant be done on that board, but id say definately look into something with some nice flex to keep control in turns.

I'm not going to get super heavy into this, and since I got this board for so cheap, I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money on a whole new setup. I'm going to get new, better suited trucks for this board, and ride it as-is.

        I just took a shower.

And it was the single most agonizingly painful experience of my life. I'm not kidding even .001%. I'm not going to lie, and you can say whatever you want, I bawled like a little bitch in the shower peeling the bandages off.

The road rash in the 2 really bad areas (my inside left forearm and outside left calf) are literally raw skin. I'm talking, I wouldn't be surprised if I went to the doctor and they said I would need skin grafts.

I say this with no bullshit, I am 110% serious. The 2 bad spots are weeping clear fluid (probably platelettes) as I type this. The cooling sensation it's creating is almost euphoric.

This is my arm right now. The spot on my leg looks the same, but I can't get a clear pic of it:

Painkillers are taking effect, I'm starting to feel a lot better...

FUCKIN HOORAY!!!! Painkillers are awesome, but dont mix em with booze, they tend to make you bleed more and you wake up stuck to the sheets like last years prom date.

Yeah, I remember that sensation after I laid down my bike(cycle) on a hill and slid about 30 feet on my bare knee. No fun, man, no fun.

Looks hella savage though. Show it off to the ladies ;)

No problem there, I don't drink. I was hesitant about even taking the painkillers, but I was just too miserable.

I try to avoid any kind of substances or medications that alter my mood or perception, I hate the way they make me feel all loopy.

Damn Josh. I hope you heal quick. I know just how bad a fall at that speed will make ya feel. I suggest you go pick up a pineapple or two if you can handle them, not the bullshit stuff in a can either. There are a lot of enzymes in pineapple that aid in healing. I swear by it. And it's legal, and not a prescription. Also, if you can get ahold of fresh aloe vera, you will do wonders for your healing time, and quality.

All I want to do now is rebuild it and bomb that same hill again.
actually indies are common on longboards josh, atleast around here. they make a "wide" version IIRC.
