Im not a fan of any of the new bikes. Um Id say an of 04 05 gsxr 750 would be awsome bike a lill much for a new rider. I never road a 954 but my cousin loved one he road one a few times. I like the look of an R1 but everyone around my area has one.

But like I said If you want a monster get an 04 zx10 180+ horsepower with the weight of a 600. The kawi 636 is a great bike also if you mod it it can have 750 power some what.

Stay away from the honda 600cc bikes there to heavy & dogs but they have cheap parts and they tend to have tranny problem I don't know anything about the 954.

I just woundnt buy a new bike if I were you. If you want a newer one find one that has been dropped not wrecked and get it painted you can find them so cheap that way.

What years are you thinking about?

two sum it up, either way will never get boring...
you're a goddamn retard if you think you have pushed a 600cc bike to its limits and never been to a track with it. I say get the 1liter, take out a huge life insurance policy and leave me as the beneficiary:roll:

          +1

If you are pushing the limits of a 600 anywhere, you should be a professional road racer.

^the reason I asked is cuz it was listed on a houston craigslist ad as a "11 front sprocket and 78 rear" as he said the ratio would add acceleration... excuse me for not knowing much about bikes except how to ride em. lulz

and you're a goddamn fag.... so what does stating the obvious solve?

pushing the bike didnt mean top speed, it was more like redline'n through 1-3 gears... well mainly 1st n 2nd. I'm speaking solely on acceleration and how quickly I can hit 80. I dont drive down curved roads or anything, I'm a straight freak so thats where my passion for acceleration comes from.

Squid is a slang term used to describe an irresponsible motorcyclist. The term is common among motorcyclists in North America.

The term is generally used to describe a motorcyclist who rides aggressively, erratically or beyond their capabilities. Actions that may cause a motorcyclist to be identified as a squid are those that are seen as reckless or excessive, such as gratuitous speeding, or performing wheelies or stoppies in the midst of other traffic.

A rider may also be labeled a squid by favoring clothing such as shorts, ball caps, flip flops, and so-called wifebeater shirts - or no shirt at all - over appropriate motorcycling attire, such as a helmet, gloves, leather jacket, riding pants, or boots.

It is important to note that a lack of safety equipment is not normative of squidly behavior. Many squids wear safety equipment, although this may be purely for aesthetic purposes. Similarly, squids are stereotyped to be young males who ride sport bikes, but the term may be used to insult any motorcyclist's behavior or skill as being immature or unsafe.

Because a squid eschews all or many of the social and legal norms of riding behavior, they are usually looked upon with derision by experienced motorcyclists, who may refer to them as "organ donors", "zip-splats", "skin crayons", or "soon-to-be ex-motorcyclists"[1].

The origin of the term squid is ambiguous. It is often said to be a contraction of squirrely and kid, or less commonly, squished and kid. Squid is also described occasionally as an acronym, such as "Super Quick Until I Die", although this and other such acronyms are likely backronyms.

An 11 tooth front and 78 rear. Wtf. Most stunt bikes don't go that low. Unless you have a dog mybe on a F4I but they don't usualy go the small in the front I think. Um on my friends bike that he slow stunts was running a 13 tooth in the front and a 60 in the rear on his 02 gsxr 750 If I recall. The bike toped out a like 120 on the revlimiter. Its uncontrolable if you ride it on the street.

To be honest you need to start out on a 600. Not trying to be an ass but you don't know shit about bikes. and I think you underestimate there potential.

Also what year was the 600 you wrode and the 750 ?

the 750 was carbed so i guess it was a 97-98

                              the 600 was a 2006

I really dont know alot about them..

I would hate to spend my money on a 600 n get bored... thats why I opted for an r1

I say get the bike, they are way too much fun. Just make sure to get the gear to go with it, and get it out on a track. Really makes you slow down on the street plus trains you to ride better.
Your correct, I do not have over 25,000 street miles and a few hundred track miles under my belt.

Just curious what makes you think I had never owned/ridden a sport bike. Do tell what normal street cars will run low 11s stock out of the box and hit high 10s with gears and lowered? And liter bikes with a good rider will approach 9s out of the box.

Here's a few pics of it right before I sold it and right after a nasty off at Hallett.
