    Sorry man, I doubt you'll get bored. People who race bikes religiously ride 600cc bikes. I know three off the top of my head.

      Get the LS1. You'll kill yourself much faster in the R1, and rape face with a 2600lb LS1 powered monster.

        Ok get a 04 05 gsxr 600 It will be at well over 100 into third.second maxes out at like 96MPH. That's what I would do. Or a ZX636

        That was the last bike I owned and it did great on twisties. Its more than enough bike for the track and the street. It do pretty much whatever I wanted it to do.

        It the 04-05 is a way better handleing bike than the older body style. Idk if the 06s are the same as the 04/05's. Never checked them out there to ugly.

            if I get absolutely everything I need to have it drivable then I'll have it done in 2-3 weeks I promise... thats if I do it.


            bikes, I've never drivin a kawi.... I guess I'll be leaning towards the r6.. The gsxr really isnt my style. I love yamaha anything. there was a dirt bike i rode a long time ago and thats what turned me on to them... I just grew up showing favoritism to them...

            thanks stroker, its starting to make since, my waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles ass really isnt gonna ever push a 1000.

            if I dont see a good r6 then I might check out the 636...

            erick, if I get the lsx swap its gonna be the ls2. nasty...

              A 636 would be great if you can't find the yamaha you want. The yanaha just has no low end compared to the 636 and the gsxr. 636 are tough as hell to. But if it were my choice id go with a kawi

                ^ +3 on the rear sprocket, exhaust and a dyno tune with a power commander fixes that.

                        A 250/500 Ninja would be a better starter bike. No wait, I mean a turbo'd nitrous Busa would make a best first bike.

                            A ninja 250 would be great for a pole smoker LOL. Id recomend a duelsport over one of them anyday. There all easy enough to get killed on though.


                            A 636 isn't bad its not as fast as the of the floor zx6rr or gsxr600 but with mods its damn near 750 power. All it needs is to go down 1tooth in the front and a powercomander.

                              hey now fellas, just because I don't have a common knowledge of bike brands and such doesnt mean i'm not an experienced rider...

                              just like most of us were when we bought our e30's, probably didn't even know how to change oil but we learned as we went along.
                              that being said, I hope to learn alot more about these bikes as long as I own one.

                                How many miles do you have under your belt that you would consider yourself an experienced rider?

                                At 25k miles I was beginning to consider myself a GOOD rider, not great. And that means fast, consistent, few mistakes, aggresively defensive in traffic.....riding your buddies bike around town a few times doesn't make you experienced.
