Nope, most promoters of gun shows will not allow this anymore. For the reason that vendors pay to have a booth where people walking around selling guns dont. This upsets vendors because the prices of private to private sales are not retail, hurting the vendors chance to make some money.

Most of the guns that I see that are being sold private person to private person are deer rifles and old heirlooms.

      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

NO there is some of that going on but not nearly as much as the Libbs, MSNBC and CNN will have you all believe.

Besides if you are going ot a gun show to buy a gun more than likely you have bought one before or a squeaky clean in the 1st place any way, so they would be able to buy it from a booth any why. Most of the people that bring their gun to sell at the show is to try and sell it to a vendor

There's no way in hell I'm reading all of this shit - but the people who brought guns were exercising their rights. If you disregard your rights you will lose them. It was a powerful political statement.

To the people who want gun control - those days are over. There are too many guns in circulation.

I'm liberal, yet I fully agree that we should have the right to own guns, as well as carry them concealed.

However, this type of argument is so flawed. A gun is made for the SOLE purpose of killing. You can't drive a gun to work, or take your kids to school on an ak-47. Don't try to downplay the power and efficiency of guns at taking lives, and compare them to cars or spoons.

Anyone who owns a gun should be required to respect it for what it is. Likening them to spoons or pencils only makes others think you're oblivious to the amount of responsibility it takes to own a gun. Stick to arguments concerning crime and personal protection.

NO its not BS but right now there is no way it will get passed it has not come outta committee yet. There are too many dems that will lose thier seat if they try a stunt like this. They still have not forgotten what happened lat time they passed a anti gun bill. The clinton AWB in 94, they lost the majority in both houses and have just now got it back.

I keep an eye on this shit about twice a month and I will begin to worry when it get out and has an approval to go to a full floor debate and vote.

10mm or .45ACP? What kind of big game. Many States have caliber restrictions for big game consult your hunting regs. Personally I wouldn't use either for big game. .41Mag minimum, escalate from there.

About purchases at Gunshows. In WA we have gun collector association and part of membership is to have a background check. You have to be a member to purchase or sell weapons at the shows. Fortunately the vendors don't seem to have enough clout to stop "walkarounds" which I think is good.

Driving a car is a priviledge not a right. Although when I talk to some folks they think it is!

Just thought this to be funny about MSNBC news broadcast of this event. Watch how they change shots in the film, then spin the video as some white raciest bringing a gun because the white folk is pissed a colored man is president.

                              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYKQJ4-N7LI

ABC reported the same guy but not white but a black man. Same gun, Eotech and belt. Notice the white guy has strap on other shoulder most likely a camera bag.

                              film 2
