Stunned, glad to know your not dead yet huh. Scary so does the CDC have a case file on you too? Mine was meningitis, had a wonderful 3 spinal taps when I young. No drug induced coma as that is some serious shit.

Don't over do it, but wish you a speedy recovery.

Key Ripes Man. So glad yinou can type this story out.. That picture had my eyes wide open. Take it easy and good luck on the recovery. Just know that everything will get back to normal. Rehab is frustrating, but keep with it

wow george. best wishes on the recovery!

like you said, this will totally change your outlook on life. get ready for a new perspective on things after this.

i take it you are going to or have quit smoking after this.......

try to push yourself harder than they want you to in PT/rehab. it will speed along your recovery from the atrophy. they tend to be pretty conservative on what they want you to do. try to keep you caloric intake up too (even though the food usually sucks).

nothing beats the feeling when they pull the tubes out. i was unconcious or just don't remember the breathing tube comming out (i was in a drug coma for 5 days beacuse of the heat burns to my lungs as well as the other burns), but i sure as hell remember the IV's, pic lines and caths comming out and going in.

are you out of the hospital yet? if not, how long is your projected stay?
