    Did you guys know that Pelican Parts was quietly acquired by ECS Tuning, which is owned by some financial hedge fund group and is scooping up all the parts suppliers? There's a big thread about it elsewhere.

    Pelican has been a mainstay Porsche parts and forum place for a long time, no? Bummer.

    "Ghosts of Gmund" - from an article about the very first few 356s built by hand at the Gmund Austria shop.....

    They had aluminum shell, steel doors and lids. I love that wooden buck.

    Yes, 6 speed manual. No PDK here.

    Spec'd and ordered last fall.
    According to Porsche this was the last GT3 allocation for the US before switch to new model production.

    Will have to wait and see if that's accurate before we take that statement as "fact"
