But for space ships, I think these are a bit more Porsche-like than most - maybe part of that is the lights and paint job. And they are technologically beautiful within the new rules. The big roof is all safety structure. The dorsal fin is required. The boxes behind the wheels are to prevent launching the car behind in a collision.
But 1000hp of gas and electric power, slippery, huge downforce - they're like vacuum cleaners in the corners.
The 917 was so sweet….
..and people forget that the 908 also ran in 1970. I've always liked those.
