^I've honestly never had a listen to those. Just go try a pair of AKG Varimotion equipped beauties and be blown away. They're like the best pair of $3000 speakers you'll ever hear, for the bargain price of $200.

Best bang for the buck over ear headphones has to be the audio technika ATH-M50. I would never give these babies up. Im in the market for good iems and been doing alot of reaserch and i think i have narrowed it down to NuForce ne700x and the Fischer audio eterna but i cant pull the trigger on either

Beyerdynamic makes some excellent headphones for gaming/average music listenting. They are built like tanks!
Here is what I have.
Grado SR80i - rock/guitar music
Beyer DT770 80ohm - gaming/not bothering the misses
Yuin PK3 - ear buds for work/running
Porta Pro special edition - because I have to?
I will recommend the beyerdynamics to anyone. It's a sound anyone can enjoy.
Next on the list is Grado RS1i
- E30, DSM, Golf R, Mazda 3 Skyactiv

Based on this thread and a couple weeks of reading reviews, I purchased a pair of MDR-V6's. These are the best headphones I've ever bought (had MDR-V150's in highschool, they broke due to shitty plastic and normal abuse). These haven't even burned in yet (about 2 hours on them) and they are awesome so far.
