Another thing, eat at the Wahoos Fish Taco there. Also, buy my ice cream while you are there too so I can afford more M3 parts.

Sushi + DJ + Bar haha sweet!
Personally "scene" wise I'm into the Alternative/rock/metal/hardcore/punk any live music (wouldnt pass up a good rave/trance place though) lol also anywhere with awesome couches i freaking love, sitting and talking crap.
One thing I can't stand is the whole rnb or anything like that.
long walks on the beach..
LOL

There's a ton of nice small live music bars in LA. Not so much in Rancho, that entire area is kind of quiet. I've done about 45 minutes to the beach from that area, it's not bad, but not super close, either. Half an hour to downtown LA. There's also a nice music scene in Palm Springs, which is inland of Rancho.
If you're into camping/hiking/climbing and such, Joshua Tree is close to you and is excellent. Also, Coachella is close, and Burning Man is reachable with a bit of a drive.
What sort of work will you be doing out here?

When do you come out?
What company car do you get?
The Socal E30 crew is legit. They'll take care of you.

Ive been wanting to move to California so bad recently, but have to finish up my degree. Most of the people that diss it are from shit ass places and are broke, but if you have money/ a good job it's one of the best places to be. New York and LA are both places I want to move it to.WTT: 1989 325i w/ many mods for stock e28. Pm me if interested.

however, the bay area is the best. Specifically the east san francisco bay, along with san mateo and parts of the peninsula. and parts of SF & marin. thats it though.

Question to Socal's, what (without being to private to yourselves) would you guys call a decent wage (per hour) in Usd?
According to what i've been shown so far (early days but looks like it will be the deal)
I'm being placed on a 40hour standard week @ $20 per/hour.($41,600 (wage) annual, before tac) w/ +$14,000 car allowance(unknown details) and private health will be covered too,
I'll be getting a company car (fuel card needs confirmed)
Basically im wondering (with things like people's average rent, food, play. ect) whats the usual reasonable cost of living?
I know this is a wide question, but I just want to know if (on $20hour) if it'll be easy going, or stingy scrounging.
(Rancho Cucomongo is looking like the area or surrounding suburb i'll be staying)
Edit: What the hell is a fish taco!?Your signature picture has been removed. Refer to the Signature and Avatar Guidelines in The Rules.
