        93 in a 35 in "residential area."

Was late for class registration, took a short cut road that is a single one-way lane, but it's like 3 lanes wide... Houses on that road are like a mile off the curb. I got carried away and came over a hill and saw piggy parked on the grass behind trees. Thought of just going and disappearing into the neighborhood crossed my mind, but I was 17 and the situation scared the piss out if me.

Cop was a dick, but I couldn't expect any less of him... If I was a cop, I'd slap the fuck out of me. Got a "reckless driving and endangerment" ticket with a mandatory court date. Took defensive driving course, that had nothing to do with speeding, but was a lot like a 6 hour AA meeting.

Soooooo $300 lawyer, DD class, prayer for justice continued and $150 in court fees later I had 0 points on my license and I walked away from this potential nightmare.

May/2000 I was westbound on the Mass Pike in my '86 745i. Had been looking at apartments in the Boston area for an upcoming move and had to make time getting back to CT.

It was getting late, around 11pm and traffic was really light so I had the big turbo six on a pretty decent boil. I look in the rearview, not a car around, but I see flashing blues waaay back there. Hmm, didn't see any cops so didn't know what it was, ambulance maybe? Figured it would probably be a good idea to back it down a bit to 75ish though. Took a while for him to catch up, but I then learned that blue lights mean Mass State Trooper FFFFFFUUUUUUUU!

Pull over, he walks up to the window. License, registration, the usual, he's obviously pissed.

"Know how fast you were going" (I honestly didn't)

"Well officer, I know I was moving back there but don't really know how fast..."

"One-oh-six. Yeah, why don't you step out of the car."

106, I couldn't believe it. Thought I was all done, headed to the clink for the night but he asked me the usual, where you coming from/going, gave me a bunch of shit about my speed and told me to go back to my car and have a seat.

Comes back and hands me a $327 ticket for 106 in a 65. No summons, no reckless driving, I couldn't believe it! Just paid up and that was the last I ever heard of it. No points on my license, no increase in insurance. Think I used my one "get out of jail free" card right there.

Still have the car, and a copy of the ticket somewhere. Should have that one framed, LOL.

i've had plenty, i try to keep it 80mph or less when cruising on the freeway, because any more than that they can write it up as a reckless op for mucho points.

worst but luckiest one was on the FZR600, he said it dove from triple digits down to 75 in less than 2 secs so he wrote it up as 75 because "at least I was alert".

slight problem there, if i had been on that bike, i would have pinned it, not hammered the brakes.

cops dont catch bikes if they have a good rider.

It wasn't a good area to try that.. that and I'm too afraid of getting caught and losing my license. I'd rather just man up and pull over than risk it, I'd be totally fucked.

if you dont want to get tickets, dont break the law.

and dont read this as preaching either, i speed all the fucking time, but i'm not gonna whine about the cop being a douchebag when he's doing what he's paid to do.

Never, never, never. It kinda helps that all of 3 brothers are 5-0 and my dad was sheriff in the little town I live in. The worst I've done was 15 over in a 55 and I was pulled over by a state boy but, I had a good excuse. I've been pulled over 11 times for verious speeding and lights out and not once yet have I got a ticket.

                        51 in a 30
                        76 in a 40
                        77 in a 55
and just the other night 61 in a 40.

The one the other night was the road leading up to my house at about 11 at night, I'm doing 40 and some asshole in practically in my back seat he's riding my ass so hard. I speed up to about 50to put room between us, he flies up again. I speed up to 60, again he comes flying up. I slow down and when I get to 40 (planned on going a lot slower to piss him off) he tosses his lights on. Cop was a complete asshole about it, I knew I wasn't going to get out of it so I called him out on tailgating me, so he threatened to have my car towed and to throw me in jail. I fucking love the cops in this area.

Only got one a few years ago for going 45 in a 30 on a downhill road. The ticket was still like $200. the cop was a complete asshole.
I should have gotten one for going 140 on the toll road though.
