One of the people I miss from E3S the most, right there.

        New school, I suppose.

Don't play yourself down, you're in middle school.

I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, all this schooling and I still get pulled over for looking too young. Bwhaha.

I'd say if you were on E3S when it went down, you are new school at least.
If you don't remember when R3V went for a while, you are definately a noob.
If you joined some board before E3S, that's old school most likely.

Well, I guess I'll check in then. I would have to be new school, joined Feb.04. Bought Eric's old 325is back in about May of '03 (i think). He told me bout r3v and it's been on since. Honestly if it had not been for this site, I mighta lost interest a long time ago. The resourcefulness of this site is nearly immeasurable.

And everyone here, personal experience to date, has been great to deal with on the business side of things. Bunch of good guys.

                      Cheers.

Found BEN in October 98, bought my first E30 in the same month. Wait it was the other way around. I was looking for an E30 and found BEN, then bought my first E30. I guess Charlie has got me here...

More than a noob, way less than an OG

I got my first BMW April 2003 but have had my hands in it and the other three BMWs I have bought since then. I have been a frequent poster on Roadfly but never found much use for DTM, probably because I started so late. Im fairly new to R3V, but this is quickly becoming my favorite forum as there are too many forum-whores at Roadfly. There may be forum-whores here but I haven't read enough around here to know yet.

Another thing about Roadfly is that their search function sucks and everytime I wanted to read up on swapping an engine, or doing suspension work I had to go to a different site. R3V is very well contained and the phpBB is a much better forum for sharing information.

Since getting into BMWs I have definitely not been going down any new roads as far as tuners go, but with a complete 5-lug conversion and m30 swap underway and interior/exterior upgrades on the radar my knowledge is definitely not noobish.

Expect great things in the future.
